Flinders Paddock

[Coming Soon] Flinders Paddock is a small dwelling and weaving space set within a working farm in Flinders. Positioned alongside Emma’s existing studio, the project supports both living and making. Conceived as a singular volume of charred timber, the building sits quietly within the paddock, oriented toward water and the surrounding landscape. The scale is intentionally restrained, with spaces shaped through rhythm, simplicity and a sense of calm. Materiality is approached with the same sensibility. Texture, patina and natural variation are embraced as part of the life of the building, allowing it to weather, soften and evolve over time.
